Extra Credit for 9th Honors

Hey folks, don’t forget that there are 35 possible extra credit points available right now, so take advantage of this opportunity!

• Critique a live performance (you can even be in it!) or exhibit.  10 points possible.  You can do this twice each semester, so that’s 20 points right there for this semester.
• Questions for Every Script: this is another 10 possible points.  These questions are on the back of your Outside Reading handout.  Answering them will help you on your Outside Reading assignment anyway!
• DGP Tutoring: get help either from Ms. Riley before or after school or during 2nd lunch, or go to the Mon.-Thurs. tutoring after school in the OHS library (be sure to get your tutor to sign your DGP as evidence). 5 points.

Open House Tonight!

Students, you are more than welcome to join your parents, guardians, or other supportive folks who will be here for you tonight at Open House.  Please give them a copy of your schedule so they can travel your daily route from class to class.  Luckily, they won’t have to deal with 1800 people in the halls, so hopefully they will easily find your classrooms and teachers!

Back to School: Welcome Students

Having trouble with pdfs?

Instead of opening the pdf in your browser (it crashes your internet browser when you try to open it), save it to your desktop first. Right-click on the pdf, and it will say “Save target as” so save it to your desktop. Also, do you have the latest version of Adobe Reader? You can download this for free. Check to see what operating system you have (Windows 98, XP, etc.) to make sure it is compatible.
